Springdale manufacturer ORC Products Inc. has relocated its headquarters to a 10,000-SF building at 683 Bain Street, just east of the Springdale Municipal Airport in the city’s Industrial Park II addition.

ORC, owned by Tom and Roxie Benincosa, provides products to a wide spectrum of businesses, from commercial food service equipment to aerospace and military subcontractors.

Tom Benincosa was the quality control manager for ORC Welding & Fabrication under its old owner, Gerrit Dexter.

Benincosa, a machinist with 35 years experience, bought the company a couple of years ago, then paid $396,000 for the Bain Street property in June.

ORC was operational in the new building by late July, and the company hosted Springdale city leaders and other officials for a grand opening event August 28.

The building’s previous tenant was an embroidery company, Design-It Inc.

ORC production lead Casey Benincosa, the owners’ son, said the expansion is due to an addition of several customers, and to allow for more machinery to increase capacity.

“We wanted to move to a site where we could better manage our growth,” Benincosa said.

ORC has 16 employees and since the change of ownership in 2011, the company has increased annual revenue by about 40 percent each year.

The new facility will allow for another 35 percent to 40 percent revenue increase.

ORC fabricates raw materials (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastics and a number of other alloys and materials) to meet specifications required by customer-provided drawings.

It specializes in CNC turning and milling, however the company also provides metal finishing services and assembly processes.
