Beaver Lake Home in Garfield Tops $1 Million

A 4,242-SF home overlooking Beaver Lake in rural Benton County tipped the scales at $1.15 million.

Jamie and Deana Vangel bought the home on Pine Log Road in Garfield from Gary and Judy Davis.

PCI Advance Title LLC in Bella Vista was the closing agent.

The two-story home was built in 2006 and appraised in 2012 for $925,000.

Davis bought the land, 3.30 acres, in May 1999 for $85,000. Janet Gardner was the seller.

The five-bedroom home also has a private, two-slip boat dock.

OREO Deal

First Western Bank & Trust Co. of Booneville recently lightened its OREO portfolio in a deal worth $1.03 million.

Fayetteville-based Rausch Coleman Homes, through its RC Chelsea Pointe LLC entity, bought 44 lots in the Chelsea Crossings subdivision just off South Honeysuckle Lane in Rogers.

The subdivision is near U.S. 71B and West Laurel Avenue.

First National Title Co. in Fayetteville was the closing agent.

First Western Bank in Rogers provided the financing.

First Western acquired the land in December via quitclaim deed from east Arkansas lender Dewitt Bank & Trust Co.

 

Smithworks Sale

A 4,978-SF office property in west Springdale recently sold for $750,000.

Springdale-based nonprofit Arkansas Support Network Inc. bought the building at 6878 Isaac’s Orchard Road in the Har-Ber Meadows addition.

The building is next to one owned by ASN that houses its administrative offices.

Smithworks LLC, led by Joshua Smith and Curtis Smith, was the seller.

Smithworks bought the building in April 2006 for $688,000. The seller was Valley Enterprises Inc., led by president Charles Gary Ashcraft Sr.

Valley bought the land in March 2004 for $86,000. The seller was Har-Ber Meadows Development Co.

The building was built in 2004, and appraised in 2010 for $482,100.
