Martens Named Bentonville President of Signature Bank
Signature Bank president and CEO Gary Head has named Melody Martens as the bank’s new Bentonville president.
Martens had been with Harrison-based Community First Bank since 2002. Most recently she was a senior vice president and branch manager of CFB’s office in Pea Ridge.
Rob Husong, Signature’s previous top executive in Bentonville, resigned earlier this year to become president of First National Bank of Rogers.
Head said Martens’ experience of 20 years and her familiarity with Bentonville will make her a good fit.
“She lives downtown and already loves being part of that vibrant community,” he said, noting Martens’ banking career ranges from lending and retail to business development and public relations. “We already know she strengthens our commitment to serve our Bentonville clients.”
Martens also will be the chairperson of Signature’s Bentonville board of directors.
Signature, headquartered in Fayetteville and with more than $500 million in assets, maintains offices in Fayetteville, Bentonville and Springdale as well as two locations in Brinkley in east Arkansas.
