From the “In case you missed it” category comes this news: Fayetteville’s Elise Mitchell, CEO of the strategic communications firm Mitchell Communications Group, was honored as the Agency PR Professional of the Year.
Mitchell accepted the award in front of close to 1,000 people attending the annual PRWeek Awards in New York on March 7.
PRWeek is a print and online publication for the public relations industry.
Mitchell founded MCG in 1995, and she is also the CEO of Dentsu Network Inc.’s PR network. You may recall the Japanese advertising and public relations company bought MCG in January.

Rogers-based sales and marketing firm The Harvest Group also was recognized on a national scale recently.
The firm was presented with a Best Practices Honor from the American Psychological Association at the annual Psychologically Healthy Workplace Awards ceremony held March 9 in Washington, D.C.
THG, which previously received the Arkansas Psychological Association’s state-level Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award, was one of nine organizations to receive Best Practices recognition from the APA.
