Constructing Clarity in Fayetteville
Have you heard about a $6.2 million assisted living facility in the works for Fayetteville?
The 39,000-SF development will be known as Clarity Pointe of Fayetteville, a 54-bed, Level II ALF at 1967 W. Truckers Drive, in the Springwoods addition behind Sam’s Club.
The owner/developer behind the project is Clarity Pointe of Fayetteville LLC. That company is in the portfolio of Tennessee businessman Thomas Schaffler, a former Vanderbilt University football player turned entrepreneur and commercial real estate developer.
The Fayetteville site is one of two planned for Arkansas — the other is in Little Rock. The facilities will be based on a new standard of research provided by The Vanderbilt Center for Quality Aging, and a best-practice model for Alzheimer’s care tested at Abe’s Garden, a nonprofit Alzheimer’s care facility at Vanderbilt.
As we understand it, the Fayetteville Planning Commission approved the development Oct. 22. The principals involved now will start working toward closing on the land deal, and construction should get rolling in a few months.
