Eleven, the restaurant at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, ranks fourth among Bentonville eateries in terms of revenue generated through the first half of 2012.

That’s according to data provided by the Bentonville Advertising & Promotions Commission, which collects a 1 percent tax on prepared foods and non-alcoholic beverages.

Chick-fil-A had revenue of $1.55 million for the six months that ended June 30, to lead all Bentonville restaurants. Panera Bread Co. ($1.26 million) and the McDonald’s on South Walton Boulevard ($1.25 million) ranked second and third, respectively.

Eleven, which combines sales from the museum’s coffee shop and catering division, had $1.11 million in revenue. The McDonald’s on Phyllis Street ($1.03 million) is the only other Bentonville restaurant to top the $1 million mark.

Eurest Dining Services, the Walmart home office cafeteria, was intentionally excluded. It had revenue of $3.02 million. Also excluded was Sam’s Club ($1.17 million).

In Fayetteville, the Chick-fil-A at Northwest Village held the top spot with $2.36 million in revenue. That total is based on the 1 percent tax collected by the Fayetteville Advertising & Promotions Commission. It also includes totals from December 2011, the start of the commission’s fiscal year.

Olive Garden ($2.2 million) ranked second, followed by Golden Corral ($1.94 million), the Chick-fil-A ($1.9 million) on Razorback Road, and Red Lobster and Shogun Japanese Steak & Sushi, which each had revenue of $1.82 million.

Chartwells Dining, the University of Arkansas cafeteria, with $2.36 million in revenue, was intentionally excluded from the top 10 list. Also excluded were Penguin Ed’s Barbeque ($1.75 million) and Rick’s Bakery ($1.56 million). Penguin Ed’s combines revenues from its three locations. Rick’s Bakery is primarily a bakery and not a restaurant.
