Restaurants Galore in Benton County
A new eatery has opened on Bentonville’s Rainbow Curve, and two sandwich shops are in the works on Walton Boulevard.
And another Panda Express is coming to Benton County, this time to Rogers.
VT Grill has opened in the space that formerly housed Rubaie Café, at 3404 S.E. Macy Road, Suite 20.
On its website, VT Grill claims to have “one of the best Philly cheesesteaks in town.” It also offers a half-pound Certified Angus burger.
The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
A Maid-Rite Diner will open at 3301 S.W. Walton Blvd. in September, according to the website of the Des Moines, Iowa-based chain. Besides its signature loose ground beef sandwiches, Maid-Rite features other sandwiches, salads, fries, malts and milkshakes.
Also, a Which Wich sandwich shop is coming to 1406 S. Walton Blvd. in late August or early September, a company spokesman said.
The Dallas-based chain already has restaurants in Russellville and Searcy.
The Which Wich website states the sandwich shops feature “superior sandwiches in an edgy, magnetic environment.” The chain was founded in 2003 by Jeff Sinelli, the founder and former CEO of Genghis Grill.
Panda Restaurant Group Inc., which opened a Panda Express in Bentonville last summer, expects to open its Rogers restaurant in January barring construction delays, a spokesman for the Rosemead, Calif.-based chain said. At 2004-A S. Promenade Blvd., the restaurant will feature a drive-thru and a patio seating area.
Large-scale plans for the restaurant were presented to the Rogers Planning Commission on Tuesday.
