Parking Gets Extremely Expensive

How much would you pay for a parking lot?

It’s worth a lot to some — Arkansas Children’s Hospital, for example, recently bought a lot on Wolfe Street in Little Rock for $1.3 million.

According to ACH director of communications Dan McFadden, the spot, near the edge of ACH’s campus, was purchased from the Wolfe Street Foundation.

The foundation is an addiction recovery group that recently moved from its namesake avenue to a bigger building on Louisiana Street near Interstate 630.

The old 7,100-SF building on its 45,000-SF lot (about half a city block) is being demolished to make way for some 85 more cars.
