Sale of Talamore Home Tops $1 Million Mark

A 4,672-SF home in Bentonville’s Talamore subdivision changed hands in a $1.14 million deal.

Bruce Nelson bought the Pembrook Circle home from the Carol L. Schwindt Trust.

Talamore is on Arkansas Highway 72, four miles west of Walton Boulevard.

The two-story home was built in 2005 and appraised recently for $914,550.

Schwindt bought the 2.2-acre property in May 2005 from McTab Construction Inc. of Bentonville for $1.2 million. McTab bought the lot in March 2004 from 3-Putz LLC for $93,000.

 

Condo Purchase

Fayetteville developer Mark Zweig, principal and owner of Mark Zweig Inc., paid $1.13 million for 15 condominiums at 1431, 1459 and 1460 W. Junction St. in Fayetteville.

The seller was Signature Bank of Arkansas. The bank acquired the property in May from Dale and Darlene Schultz.

The condominiums were built in 2007. They are approximately 1,500 SF with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

Ten of the 15 units are currently leased.

Subcontractors used for site renovations will include Edgewood Homes LLC of West Fork, Tom January Floors Inc. of Fayetteville, Bodan Electric Inc. of West Fork and Rainbow Seamless Gutters of Fayetteville.

Signature Bank provided the financing.

Plentywood Property

A 5,307-SF executive estate in northeast Bentonville rang up a $710,000 sale.

Christopher and Stephanie Rauls bought the Plentywood Road home from Mark and Lori McCane.

The purchase was backed with a 30-year loan of $417,000 from Arvest Mortgage Co. of Lowell and a five-year loan of $222,000 from Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.

The home was built in 2008 and appraised recently for $477,400.

The McKanes bought the 5.7-acre lot in January 2007 from Wade A. and Samantha Espenscheid for $155,000.

 

Clinic Construction

Milestone Construction Co. LLC of Springdale, led by president Sam Hollis, recently purchased a building permit valued at $500,000. The permit is for the construction of an allergy clinic at 1585 E. Rainforest Ave. near Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville.

The Hedberg Allergy & Asthma Clinic will open its second location at the site. Its primary location is at 700 S. 52nd St. in Rogers.

Legacy National Bank of Springdale is providing the financing.
