Brown’s Collision Given Top rnAward by Farmers Insurance
Farmers Insurance Co. recently presented its Arkansas Shop of the Year Award to Brown’s Collision Center in Bentonville, owned by Keith and Elizabeth Brown.
Brown’s earned the honor as part of a Farmers program implemented two years ago, and designed to recognize companies based on their employees’ level of training, knowledge, equipment and customer service.
“Out of 1,100 shops or so [in Arkansas] we were at the very top,” said Keith Brown, who has operated the business for nearly four decades. “It’s very rewarding.”
An awards ceremony was held at the company’s headquarters at the corner of 14th and Southeast J streets.
Brown’s has 17 employees and works with 16 insurance companies. The company, Brown said, averages 35 vehicle repairs per week.
“We have 63 in production as we speak,” he said. “It’s grown a lot and our business has been really blessed.”
Kenneth Brown, Keith’s late father, established Brown’s in Texarkana in 1954. The business relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 1989.
