Bank of Fayetteville Robbed Again
The Dickson Street branch of the Bank of Fayetteville was robbed Friday morning, according to a spokesperson.
The same branch was robbed on Jan. 14. BOF marketing director Lindsay Ramsey indicated via email no customers or employees were injured during Friday’s robbery, and that employees followed “proper procedure.”
The branch was closed until further notice.
The Fayetteville Police Department released the following statement:
“Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today that the Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a Robbery of the Bank of Fayetteville at 542 W. Dickson Street.
On May 6, 2011 at approximately 08:50 A.M., employees of the Bank of Fayetteville at 542 West Dickson called the Fayetteville Police Department and reported a bank robbery. The suspect was reported to be a white male, twenty to early thirties, 5’6-5’8, stocky build wearing eye glasses, a black and gray plaid long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a dark colored scull cap. The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot westbound. No weapon was seen and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
