The Hampton Inn-Siloam Springs is doing strong business these days. Estimated revenue based on taxes collected by the city indicates the hotel’s revenue grew from about $910,000 in 2008 to $1.22 million in 2009. No small feat.

So how’d they do it?

“We’re not overbuilt here,” said David Trapp, the hotel’s general manager.

Trapp identified multiple corporations, John Brown University-related functions and wedding attendees as being key to the Hampton Inn’s recent success. Trapp also sounds hopeful his hotel’s good times will continue for the foreseeable future.

“We expect to continue to grow,” Trapp said. “We offer the best product in town.”
