Crumpet Tea Room Express moves; more Village on the Creeks updates

We told you a couple of issues back about rumors surrounding the potential sale of the 64-acre Village on the Creeks in Rogers.

The property is owned by Arvest Bank, which claimed it in 2009 following the bankruptcy filings of C.R. Lehman Properties LP. Arvest was listed as Carmen Lehman’s largest creditor with a $27.3 million loan secured by the property.

And while we’re still chasing that story, we recently came across some other news regarding Village on the Creeks. It seems the Crumpet Tea Room Express located on Pleasant Crossing Blvd. in Rogers is moving to Village on the Creeks. Expect the new location to open around September.

We also understand there’s a new office user set to take over more than 15,000 SF of space formerly occupied by PepsiCo. Fayetteville’s Sage Partners is the leasing company for Village on the Creeks.
