Fast 15 Prospects Have All the Tools

Well-educated. Bright. Insightful. Brimming with devotion.

Those are just a few adjectives that fall short of describing the level of quality and professionalism represented in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s second class of Fast 15.

As one staffer put it, they are the business equivalent of a five-tool player – they can run, field, hit for average, hit for power and throw. Though they’re all successful, most are still in the minors, ready to be called up.

For the most part, these are individuals who are starting their careers. To be eligible, individuals had to be in their twenties and have proven to their employers and peers they are on the fast track to success.

The median age of this class is 27. Eight of them work in Benton County.

These 15 twentysomethings work in various fields and have a plethora of individual specialties, from finance to marketing. Representatives from Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Tyson Foods Inc. and the entrepreneurial world are on the following pages. These men and women were selected by the Business Journal editorial staff from about 100 nominations.

We think their accomplishments are worthy and their futures bright. We wish them all success, and hope they choose to stay close to the home field and continue to play ball in Northwest Arkansas.
