Pitcher Gets New Digs
Heard about a major league transaction that closed recently in Little Rock’s Prospect Terrace neighborhood?
Cliff Lee, the former Arkansas Razorback who now is a left-handed ace with Major League Baseball’s Seattle Mariners, and his wife, Kristen, bought a 5,700-SF house from Lee and Robin Brown.
The residential deal weighed in at a whopping $2.85 million.
We’re told the deal got rolling when the Lees were looking at a nearby house, saw the Browns’ 82-year-old home, rang the doorbell and made an unsolicited offer on the property that encompasses six lots.
The transaction represents something of a record-setter for Prospect Terrace, and reflects an uber premium usually reserved for homes in a neighborhood to the east: Edgehill.
