To Hoard or Not to Hoard?

Fans of the TLC network might keep their eyes peeled in May and look for more Arkansas references than the famous Jim Bob Duggar family.

Though we don’t have confirmation that Springdale resident Mike Pyron’s home will be featured in an episode of “Hoarding: Buried Alive,” we’re pretty sure it will be. A film crew employed by Discovery Communications LLC, TLC’s parent company, was onsite for an “estate sale” Pyron held at his home on March 19.

Aside from the normal estate sale-type goods, Pyron’s home was well-stocked with many repetitive and redundant items for sale, such as a wide array of walking canes. Odd maybe since Pyron doesn’t appear to require use of a cane.

Pyron declined to discuss the filming due to a contract he has with the company but did say he’s not a hoarder. He classified himself as an “advanced collector.”
