It seems Dave Barr, recently reported here to be moving to The Hog Sports Radio, has changed his mind and will remain working as a producer for Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly.
THSR is a group of frequencies up and down the AM and FM dials that was left with a programming gap from noon to 4 p.m. on weekdays following the departure of Gary Campbell, who hosted The Sports Guys. General manager Grant Merrill currently is hosting a program called SportsCentral during that time slot, and presumably will continue doing so for the foreseeable future.
In other sports-radio news, which has become as fluid as Tiger Woods’ social calendar, Brandon Marcello of WholeHogSports.com, is giving up his regular appearances on THSR for a gig on The T.J. Carpenter Show, which airs weekday afternoons on ESPN 92.1 FM.
