Theo?s Owner Set To Open Italian Eatery

Scott Bowman, owner of Theo’s American Kitchen & Cocktail Lounge, plans to open a casual, family-friendly, Italian restaurant in February.
Primo Pasta House & Pizzeria will be located in the 3,500-SF space at 1838 N. Crossover, where Bizy’s Neighborhood Grill was formerly located. Currently, Bowman is completing renovations, including building a brand new bar.
Bowman said he “saw a real opportunity in that neighborhood and with this style of food. It is a great place to do what we wanted to do for a long time”
Primo Pasta, though it will offer a very different menu than Theo’s, will offer the same quality food, he said.
The restaurant will offer a full-range Italian menu, including authentic pastas, pizza, Italian specialty items, seafood dishes and a full bar, “that’s easy on the wallet,” Bowman said.
“We want to bring the same attention to detail that we offer at Theo’s to a casual, family-friendly, Italian restaurant,” Bowman said.
Chef Ben Chrzanowski, who has served as executive chef in restaurants across the country, will prepare Primo Pasta’s menu.
“[Chrzanowki] brings many years of executive chef experience to the area,” Bowman said.
