Two representatives from the Fort Smith region were chosen to participate in Leadership Arkansas Class IV. Coby W. Logan, an attorney with the law firm of Daily & Woods, PLLC, and Whitney Yoder, vice president of operations and program development and implementation for the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce, will join 44 others selected from throughout the state.

The nine-month program, created by The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas, gives an overview of Arkansas economies, politics and issues from a statewide perspective. This year’s class will travel to Hot Springs, Little Rock, Conway, Russellville, Texarkana, West Memphis and Bentonville, to learn about subjects including local and state government, economic development, law, medicine, education, tourism, manufacturing, retail, banking, construction, timber, oil and gas and agriculture.
