Playing Santa

Attention holiday shoppers: The JCPenney store at Pinnacle Hills Promenade will open its doors at 4 a.m. on Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving and the first official day of Christmas shopping season.

Other Promenade retailers will open at 6 a.m. on the 27th, with Dillard’s holding off until 8 a.m. Most Promenade businesses will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays from Nov. 30 to Dec. 10, with JCPenny boasting slightly extended hours. Promenade general manager David Faulkner said some early-morning hours have been reduced due to low turnout in previous years.

JCPenney, however, will give shoppers more than enough opportunity to play Santa. The store will be open a total of 418 hours over a 28-day span beginning Nov. 27.
