The Johanson Group and Applied Computer Technology Inc. have made writing job descriptions easier.
The two groups’ sister software company, DB Squared LLC, recently introduced a Web-based electronic job description writer that allows customers to access a database of more than 1,100 descriptions. Customers can use those descriptions, modify them to meet their needs, or start from scratch and create a unique description of their own.
“Most of it is point-and-click,” Bruce Johanson said, “and as you point-and-click, you’re creating a job description.”
The program allows customers to create, review, update and save any and all job descriptions in one convenient place. The database of descriptions was developed by experienced human resources professionals and senior consultants.
Prices start at $9.95 for a single description, and range to $495 for the premium subscription, which provides access to an unlimited number of descriptions.
