Legislators Get Report Card

The Arkansas Citizens First Congress, a group dedicated to pushing policy changes, has given grades to legislators according to how they voted during the session on issues dealing with agriculture, civil rights, education, government and election reform, public health, environment and economic justice.

Among the Northwest Arkansas legislators, Jim House earned a score of 92 percent, Sen. Sue Madison a 94 percent.

Earning B’s were Rep. Uvalde Lindsey, with an 86 percent and Rep. Lindsley Smith an 89 percent. Sen. Bill Pritchard earned a C with a 72 percent score. Scoring D’s were Rep. Mark Martin, with a 65.8 percent, and Rep. Jon Woods, with a 56.6 percent.
