Desperate for any news other than bad news?
The Benton County Daily Record posted a breaking news item on its Web site on Feb. 19 that had us shaking our heads in wonder.
Are you ready for this? “First Fridays” are back on the Bentonville Square. Yes, that’s right, on March 6, the city will resume its monthly celebrations with a “Midway to St. Paddy’s Day,” theme. While certainly good news for downtown Bentonville retailers and eateries, we’re just not sure this qualifies as “breaking news.”
