Louie?s Grill & Bar Targets 1Q 2009

The revitalization of the area around the Northwest Arkansas Mall continues. Thanks to the long-awaited debut of the Malco Razorback Theater (and no doubt some assist from the new Sam’s Club), Fayetteville continues to see its sales tax revenue increase.

Over the last year a number of new businesses have opened or are planning to open in the area, and the latest will be Louie’s Grill & Bar, a franchise headquartered in Oklahoma City.

The Fayetteville location will be the first in Arkansas and is owned by two local partners and a third out of OKC.

With 5,800 SF in the Shoppes at Steele Crossing (home to IO Metro), Louie’s will be a sports bar featuring pizza, an outdoor patio with a south and east views and seating for around 240 in separate bar and dining areas.

The owners are targeting an open date sometime in the first quarter of 2009.
