Haynes Counters Lawsuit Charges

Bill Schwyhart was an investor in Rogers-based Vision Technologies Inc. and a plaintiff in a 19-count lawsuit that was filed against VTI and company CEO Lee Thompson for actions so salacious that the case documents were eventually sealed.

We have learned that Jeanie Fleeman, her sons, John and Bart; Jim Neil and Billie Jean Reeves, filed an order to dismiss the suit in April. And we understand that Fleeman, “the ring leader” of sort for the suit did not notify the other plaintiffs in the case before filing the order to dismiss.

We understand Fleeman was the “ring leader” of sort for the suit and didn’t notify all of the plaintiffs before filing the order to dismiss.

Although that lawsuit has been cleared, Thompson and VTI aren’t completely out of the woods. You’ll remember that in our May 5 issue we told you about a new suit Fleeman filed against Thompson, his wife, Sandra; Collins and Cynthia Haynes and VTI for repayment of a $2.3 million loan Fleeman took control over from the Bank of Arkansas NA after the group failed to fulfill the terms of the loan.

On May 6, Haynes responded to Fleeman’s suit denying all of the allegations Fleeman outlined in her lawsuit and asked the judge to dismiss the suit all together.

In his response Collins makes reference to the previous suit filed against VTI, in which Fleeman was a plaintiff, and argues that it “has wrongfully interfered with Vision Technologies Inc. paying its indebtedness.”

Sounds like the company picnics could get a little hostile.
