Graebel Relocation Adds More Bentonville Warehouse Space (Real Deals)
Crossland Construction Co. recently completed a 79,500-SF addition at the Graebel Arkansas Movers office, part of the international relocation company Graebel Relocation Services.
Crossland purchased a $5.9 million building permit from the city of Bentonville for the warehouse addition.
The office and company warehouse/storage space is located at 2601 SE J St. in Bentonville.
Parkway Real Estate Holdings LLC owns the existing facility, which was built in 1999 and has about 29,000 SF of warehouse space.
Crye-Leike Plans Two New Locales
Harold Crye, co-owner of Crye-Leike Realtors, has announced plans for two new Benton County Crye-Leike offices.
On November 29, Crye, through the Harold E. Crye Revocable Trust, purchased a 1.55-acre lot in the Fountain Plaza Subdivision on Walton Boulevard in Bentonville from BancorpSouth Bank, Fort Smith Division for $1.15 million.
The location will sit between the Signature Bank of Arkansas complex and McAlister’s Deli.
Crye-Leike will be constructing a 14,000-SF office/retail complex.
The $2.5 million facility will house the Bentonville Crye-Leike Realtors office, which will occupy about 6,000 SF, a Realty Title and Escrow office, which will occupy about 3,500 SF, and about 4,500 SF of retail space.
Realtors in the company’s leased space on NE 3rd Street in Bentonville will relocate to the new Walton Boulvard location upon completion.
Cassie Elliott will serve as the branch’s executive broker.
The company is also building a second Rogers location on Pleasant Grove Road.
The 14,000-SF building will be located on 1.5 acres.
Like the Bentonville location, the Crye-Leike Realtors office will be about 6,000 SF, the remaining 7,000 SF will be leased as retail space.
Doug Gibson has been named the executive broker for the new location.
A general contractor has not been named for either project.
The completion date for both locations has been set for September 1.
Bancorp Constructs First Benton Co. Branch
C.R. Crawford Construction purchased a $1.68 million building permit from the city of Rogers on December 3 for the construction of a BancorpSouth Bank branch.
This will be the first Benton County branch for the Tupelo, Miss.-based bank.
C.R. Crawford is the general contractor for the project. Arco Excavation completed the site work for the job. DWC & Associates PA of Tupelo, Miss. is the architectural firm for the project.
The 8,500-SF facility will be two-stories. It will be a Bancorp South prototype building but will have a standing seam metal roof which will match the existing MetroPark buildings developed by Collins Haynes.
Normal banking functions will occupy the first floor. The bank’s insurance, investment and trust companies will setup shop on the second floor of the facility.
The branch will have four drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM.
The new branch sits on 2.24 acres in MetroPark North. BancorpSouth purchased the land in December 2006 for $1.85 million.
Camp Bow Wow Builds Location
Clinard Construction Management purchased a $1 million building permit from the city of Bentonville on December 5 for a Camp Bow Wow franchise location.
Jeff and Linda Kosecki will be the owners and operators of the canine day care center.
The 7,500-SF facility will be located at 1403 SW 14th Street in west Bentonville.
This is the first Camp Bow Wow franchise in Arkansas.
Camp Bow Wow is based out of Boulder, Co., and has franchises throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Bagga Bags Fuel Station
Sudhir Bagga, through Bagga Inc., purchased the Diamond Shamrock fuel station on 17410 E. U.S. Highway 412 for $950,000 from Ajay Gogia through Gogia Sons Inc.
The station was built in 1976.
Childs Choose Bentonville Home
Christopher and Kathy Child purchased a two-story, 4,287-SF home from Sterling Homes of Arkansas Inc. for $629,000 on November 27.
The home sits on a 1.01-acre lot in the Stone Ridge States Subdivision in Bentonville.
Construction on the home was completed in 2007.
Callaways Capture Cave Springs Home
Jack and Christy Callaway purchased a two-story home located in the St. Valery Downs Subdivision in Cave Springs from Jerry and Angela Hawkins for $580,000 on November 30.
The home is located on 0.90 acres and was constructed in 2006.
It has a brick exterior and a detached two-car garage.
Crossland Creates Restaurant Room
Crossland Construction Co. purchased a $507,000 building permit for the completion of Crabby’s Seafood Bar & Grill restaurant, located on the north side of the first floor of the Crossland Construction building on 52nd Street in Rogers.
Crossland is serving as the general contractor for the project. Moses Mechanical completed the mechanical sub-contractor work for the facility.
The Joplin-based restaurant, owned by Kansas restaurateur Ahmad Enayati, will be 5,500 SF and will seat 180 people.
The restaurant will have oak tables and finished concrete floors.
A patio, located on the northeast corner of the building will be constructed to accommodate an additional 40 people.
The high-end seafood restaurant will serve both lunch and dinner and will also be open for Sunday brunch.
Enayati said he is working toward an early February opening.
