Eddie Haskell’s Patio and Grill in Rogers is known for its cool drinks and lively nightlife, but like the restaurant’s namesake -Eddie Haskell of “Leave it to Beaver” – the hip Pinnacle Hills eatery has two unique sides.

At night the lights go down and customers can enjoy a full menu of starters, sandwiches, fish and steaks.

But during the day the restaurant offers sandwiches, salads, pasta and a limited selection of fish and steak.

On December 3, the restaurant unveiled a new and improved menu. The additions included a new fish entrée and two new sandwiches.

The restaurant’s selection includes many favorites commonly found in mid-west eateries but with a unique and posh touch.

Two of our reviewers recently teamed-up and headed to Eddie Haskell’s to get a taste of the restaurant’s daytime offerings. They started with an order of chips and queso.

The chips were fresh and crunchy. The white queso was about room temperature and through the course of the meal became too thick to enjoy.

Both diners decided to try one of the restaurant’s six different salads that could also be ordered as a wrap.

One diner opted for the chicken strip wrap, choosing the golden wheat tortilla ($8).

The wrap had thick, hearty chunks of chicken, just the right amount of lettuce, pieces of bacon and a ranch dressing.

“The wrap was enjoyable but not terribly memorable,” she said. “It was good but probably not worth eight dollars.”

The second diner opted for a Greek chicken wrap with a tomato basil tortilla ($8).

Like the chicken strip wrap the Greek chicken wrap offered large, juicy pieces of chicken breast.

The Greek dressing gave the wrap flavor but did not overpower the other parts. The whole kalamata olives provided rich flavor, but were too much at times.

It was a very good wrap that was not easily found at other restaurants she said.

Our reviewers were not given a choice of sides but did enjoy the thick and crispy homemade potato chips.

They were a nice alternative to the usual sides of bagged chips or french fries but a choice of sides would have been nice one diner said.

The server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and kept the drinks filled.

The dinning area at Eddie Haskell’s was modern and upscale. Flat panel televisions surrounded the bar.

Music was playing but the noise level was low enough so as to allow customers to visit while dining.

The patio area had several table and chairs that could be used during the warmer months.

Our reviewers said the friendly service and enjoyable food made for a pleasant weekday lunch but the traditional garb and higher-than-usual prices make Eddie Haskall’s a once-in-a-while lunch choice.
