In a market overloaded with high-priced homes and condominiums, Iowa-based Triton Homes Inc. is looking to make its mark in Northwest Arkansas with affordable, high-quality housing.

Triton Homes is a faith-based company that operates throughout the Midwest with the mantra of providing housing to as many as possible.

“Our mission is to provide homes with lower-than-luxury price but not-lower than-luxury-quality,” Matt Vermillion of Triton Homes said. “We don’t believe homes have to suffer in quality just because they are lower in price.”

The company typically targets young professionals who want to own a home but have no previous homeownership experience.

With no money down and low monthly payment options Vermillion said the company attempts to help ease first time homebuyers into the mortgage process.

The company also offers a flexible buy-out program that gives home owners a 100 percent buy-out option if they opt to vacate their home because they are transferred out of the area, get married or need to relocate for any reason.

“We want to be flexible,” Vermillion said. “We encourage people to move up and, if necessary, to move out if their job requires it. We don’t want to hold young professionals back from taking a promotion because they own a home. We want to help everyone succeed.”

In October the company will begin construction on the first phase of their 200-unit Village at Shiloh subdivision located north of Highway 62 and west of Interstate 540 on North Shiloh Drive in Fayetteville.

The first phase will include 12-units, all two bedroom, two-and-a-half bathrooms with a two-car garage. Prices for the homes will vary.
