Robert Bell began working as an assistant editor for the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal on June 4.
Bell is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned his bachelor of arts in journalism, and served as the news editor at The Arkansas Traveler, the student newspaper.
Bell was an editorial intern at the Business Journal from January through May.
Tina Tisbe started as the editorial art director for the Business Journal in April. Tisbe was the art director for CitiScapes Metro Monthly magazine for 5 years.
She co-launched the magazine in 2000 with Aaron Bleidt.
“Robert’s a bright guy and I think he’s going to do a great job,” said Worth Sparkman, editor. “And Tina is taking the design of the Journal to new levels. I look forward to working with both of them.”
Also in April, Wende Willbanks was promoted from circulation assistant to the newly created title of brand strategist (formerly account executive).
And in late May, Jason Kaundart was hired as a strategist as well. Kaundart previously worked as the branch manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Fayetteville for three years.
“We are ecstatic to have two customer-service oriented professionals like Wende and Jason join our staff,” said Jeffery Wood, publisher.
“They are already working on a number of exciting projects for our clients and doing an excellent job of helping companies grow their brands in the B to B space.”
