Pontiac Coffee House Expands Beyond Springdale

We hear the Pontiac Coffee House in Springdale is set to expand on the eve of its two-year anniversary.
Owner Nancy Hagen recently bought a second franchise for Java Dave’s Coffee and the current hope is to locate in a 1,500-SF space at the The Shoppes at Har-Ber Lakes in Springdale near Harps.
The new location will be known as Pontiac Express, and Hagen may not be done with plans for a third Pontiac location farther toward Tontitown.
No lease has yet been signed with Sage Partners LLC of Fayetteville with contingencies brewing for a lower drive-thru window and a drive-thru speaker on a landscaped parking lot island currently plumbed for a sprinkler system.
The new coffee house will be drive-thru only at first and staffed by about five people with the possibility to move into a larger building in the development later.
Hagen, who opened Pontiac March 26, 2005 inside her father’s old auto dealership, has a year to open a new location after purchasing the license and will look elsewhere if the Har-Ber Lakes deal falls through.
Hagen also recently purchased Sweet Bouquets on W. Sunset and has moved the business into her current 10,000-SF space on Thompson Street.
