That’s the ad campaign that has also made its way into Northwest Arkansas. Readers may have noticed the campaign on billboards and even in the Business Journal.
Gib Garrow, Neosho (Mo.) Chamber of Commerce director of economic development, said he is trying to tap into the Northwest Arkansas economy.
Garrow said the chamber spent $20,000 to jumpstart the campaign in 2006. In 2007, that will increase to $27,000.
Randy Mullikin, president of the Mullikin Agency, is handling the campaign. The first wave was meant to be an introduction.
The next wave will continue to use billboards but will also include print, radio and TV ads. The goal is not just to get people to visit. The vision is to get people to move to Neosho and open businesses there.
