Griffin Company Realtors is listing a house that has a history as rich as its $1.9 million price tag.
The 4,625-SF home was built in 1964. It was originally designed for Willis Shaw by Bob Herndon, an architect who spent two years working with the legendary E. Fay Jones.
In 1981, it was purchased by Jim and Diane Blair, who are close friends with the Clinton family. Word is Bill Clinton stayed there 10 times while he was governor and three more times during his presidency.
The Blairs sold the property in 2005 and the new owners, who requested anonymity, have put it back on the market. It is located at 11976 Tyson Road in Lowell, adjacent to the Tyson Lake Complex.
The home sits on 19 acres and features a heated indoor pool, a sauna in the pool house, an outdoor hot tub and a three-stall covered boat dock in the Hickory Creek area of Beaver Lake.
Griffin’s Sarah Brothers and Mike Kopek are the listing agents.
