NFL Investors

As reported in our Aug. 14 “Whispers,” some former and current NFL players were among three groups considering purchasing Eagles’ Bluff, a 2,355-acre parcel of land off U.S. Highway 62 in Benton County.
The land is listed by Clark Long & Associates of Fayetteville for $12.5 million.
No word on who the players, or ex-player are, but we hear the NFL group has made an offer on the land for just over $8 million with plans to develop it as residential property.
We also hear the group also plans to open several consolidated lumberyards in the area that will be for contractors and developers only.
