TDS Starts Bentonville B-to-B Focus

Total Document Solutions Inc. will open a store in Bentonville next month. The third TDS location will cater specifically to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. vendors who frequently travel in and out of the area.

Tim Stanley, president and general manager of TDS, believes he’s found a niche in the Bentonville market by renting copiers by the week or by the month.

“I think it’s going to be huge,” Stanley said. “If vendors are in town and they don’t want to go to a Kinkos or use one of the little printer systems set up at these hotels, I’m going to rent a laser printer to them that they can have right in their room.”

While TDS has always been a Xerox dealer, it plans to offer drop off/pick up service on all makes and models of copiers and printers at the Bentonville office.

“It’s going to kind of be a business-to-business retail store if you will,” Stanley said.

TDS currently has stores in Fayetteville and Russellville and serves about 1,000 customers.
