Two TV Stations Hire Meteorologists

Two new meteorologists have been hired at local television stations: Justin Povick at KHBS/KHOG, Channels 40/29, and Dan Ashley at KNWA.
Povick was previously weekday morning meteorologist at KSWO-TV in Lawton, Okla.
He is from Charleston, W. Va.
Ashley previously worked for KOAM-TV, the CBS affiliate in Pittsburg, Kan. He is originally from Rock Hill, S.C.
Both men graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville, which has a degree program in atmospheric science.
Derek Ruscin, KNWA’s former weekend weather anchor/news photographer, was promoted to sports reporter in early July.
