KNWA Hires Skoff As Meteorologist

KNWA announced on June 1 that it had hired Dan Skoff as chief meteorologist. He will replace Rick Katzfey, who plans to leave the NBC affiliate when his contract expires at the end of June.
Skoff had been the weekend meteorologist for KARK, the NBC affiliate in Little Rock, since 2003. Both stations are owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group of Irving, Texas.
Before that, Skoff worked for the NBC station in Amarillo, Texas. He’s a native of Milwaukee and has a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
