ANB Financial to Open Office in Wyoming

Loyal Whispers readers may remember the Business Journal reported that ANB Financial N.A. of Rogers was looking to expand into the trendy tourist town of Jackson, Wyo.

That was back in August, and we hear the bank is finally going to get the operation going. The office is a loan production office with about seven employees and it’s set to open May 1.

ANB opened an LPO in St. George, Utah, in 2005 and already has its eye on other attractive markets, though it may be a year before any are up and running.

“Our long-term growth strategy is to grow outside the state of Arkansas,” said Dan Dykema, chairman and CEO of the bank.

ANB’s assets grew by 53 percent from $631.4 million at the end of 2004 to more than $966 million at the end of 2005.
