Payroll Co. Buys AutoTime of Fayetteville

The Payroll Co. of Springfield, Mo., bought AutoTime, a Web-based time-keeping system, from PayTime Inc. of Fayetteville on March 1 for an undisclosed sum.
PayTime is a Web-based time and attendance tracking company owned by Travis and Becky Fink.
“Customers will have access to additional expertise and payroll services as a result of the transition,” according to a press release from The Payroll Co., which plans to open an office at 3428 E. Joyce Blvd. in Fayetteville.
Founded in 2001, The Payroll Co. offers payroll outsourcing services, direct deposit, quarterly and annual tax returns and reports, new-hire reporting, retirement plan file transmission, cafeteria plans, check processing, and garnishment services. Jeff Hunter is president and CEO.
The Payroll Co. has about 75 customers in Northwest Arkansas., including RWD of Springdale, which does business as Maaco, The Bristol in Bentonville and Sean Prewitt American Express Financial of Harrison.
