Carla and Cheryl Tyson have opened a photography studio in Fayetteville.

The studio, called CT2 (that should read “CT squared”), is at 207 Thompson Ave. in the Three Sisters Building.

Both women are photographers. They are also the sisters of Tyson Foods Inc. CEO John Tyson.

Carla Tyson said the 1,800-SF studio has been in the works for about a year. It is open only by appointment now but will be open four days a week beginning in about six months. She has 30 to 40 prints hanging on the wall of the studio. Clients can browse through another 10,000 images she has on a computer. Unframed prints are priced from $100 to $500 each, depending on the image and size of the print. Those are the stuido’s “special opening prices.”

Carla Tyson said she primarily uses her photography to promote fundraising causes.

The gallery will also offer about 200 photographs taken by Cheryl Tyson. Her latest series of photos were taken during a missionary trip to Uganda.

Carla and Cheryl Tyson held their first public exhibition Feb. 23 at the Inn at Carnall Hall on the University of Arkansas campus.
