Rogers Resigns As UA PR Head

Susan Rogers, who had been the chief public relations person at the University of Arkansas since 2003, resigned on March 3 for “personal reasons,” said David Gearhart, vice chancellor for university advancement.
Gearhart will perform Rogers’ duties until the UA hires another associate vice chancellor for university relations. Rogers’ salary was $122,000 for the current fiscal year.
Gearhart said he will advertise the job this month and he hopes to have Rogers’ replacement hired by late summer or early fall.
