Stone Mill Will Serve Sam?s

Daniel Dantzler, owner of Stone Mill Bread & Flour Co. in Fayetteville, said he will provide fresh bread to the new Sam’s Club store planned for Fayetteville. Dantzler said he had a similar agreement with the Sam’s Club in Springdale from 1999 to 2003.
“We’re actually the only bread company up here that makes bread,” Dantzler said.
Stone Mill opened nine years ago, Dantzler said. His wife, Karen Dantzler, is a partner in the business.
The new Sam’s Club store is slated to open late this year or early in 2007. The construction timetable for the store depends on the outcome of a lawsuit some Fayetteville liquor store owners filed against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. after the Bentonville company got a permit to sell liquor at the proposed Sam’s Club.
