The Pinnacle Group announced on Jan. 13 that a Lola Boutique clothing store, The Perfect Pair shoe store and Pink Bamboo clothing store, will open in the spring at the Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers.

Ginger Hefner, who will manage the Rogers Lola Boutique, said the company will benefit from having more than one location in the same area, in addition to being near other boutique-type retailers.

“We really wanted to have the Lola store within a boutique style area, where it is a shopping experience,” Hefner said.

Lola opened in Fayetteville in November 2004. The company rang in more than $500,000 in sales in 2005, said Lisa Garrison, Lola owner.

Sometime in the spring, Garrison will also open a Lola in the Southlake Town Center near Dallas along with the 1,900-SF in the Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills.

Hefner said having three Lola stores will expand the company’s buying capability.

“You can buy in larger amounts if both stores can carry the inventory,” Hefner said. Because Lola’s offerings, which range in price from $50 to $500, are more focused on designer labels, it can sometimes be a challenge to get the labels to allow smaller stores to stock them, Hefner said.

“A lot of lines have inventory minimums so if you buy for two or three stores you can pick up different lines,” she said.

Hefner said Garrison attends buying markets six to 10 times per year in New York City and Los Angeles.

Hefner is designing the new stores and designed the original store. Rachel Smith manages the Fayetteville store, and Jade Terminella is the district manager.

She said Lola keeps track of what dress has been sold for what event to help customers avoid showing up with the same dress as someone else.
