New Family Entertainment Facility Coming to Rogers
If you believe the hype, It’z gonna be big.
It’z, a chain of “family dining and indoor entertainment” centers, is planning to bring one of its 50,000-SF restaurant / video game / amusement rides/bowling/retail store/party facilities to the Rogers/Bentonville area sometime next year, according to company spokesman Todd Tomlin.
A typical It’z location sounds like a Chuck E. Cheese on steroids, featuring four themed dining areas with large projection TVs, flat-screen TVs or music to listen to while dining. Combined, the four sections seat more than 700.
After eating, children can bowl, play video games and ride rides.
Each It’z location varies in size from 55,000 to 65,000 SF and employs about 300 workers. The chain has already announced locations in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Albuquerque, N.M.
Plans for the Rogers/Bentonville It’z could be announced in a “month or two,” Tomlin said. The chain is now working on lease negotiations and said the location will be “built to suit.”
It’z LLC is based in Plano, Texas.
