Paint Can Logo Resembles Bank?s

We were caught a little off guard on a recent walk down the paint aisle at Lowe’s in Fayetteville.

A logo on some paint paraphernalia looked suspiciously familiar — it looked a lot like Signature Bank of Arkansas’.

It seems Valspar Corp. of Minneapolis has a paint color palette called American Tradition Signature Colors. The “S” used in both Signature’s is in a box, tilting in the same direction and the same parts of the “S” are touching the same parts of the box. The typeface is different and the paint company’s has a floating dot in the box, but the similarities are unmistakable.
