Little Rock-based law firm Friday Eldredge & Clark has operated a Fayetteville office since 2000. In 2006, the firm will open another office in Rogers to better accommodate its Benton County clientele.

Jim Smith, partner with FE&C, said the Fayetteville office employs seven lawyers, and the new office, slated to open Feb. 1, will start off with two to three lawyers. The crew will occupy about 1,500 SF of space in Metro Park, a Haynes Ltd. development off Horsebarn Road in Rogers.

The firm’s Fayetteville office has almost doubled its billing revenue each year for the last five years, Smith said. FE&C’s northwest practice is “primarily transactional, banking regulatory and bank lending,” Smith said.

Some of the firm’s area clients include Haynes Ltd., Chambers Bank of North Arkansas, University of Arkansas Foundation, Tyson Foods Inc., Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Orion Realty, the Barber Group and Mathias Properties, Smith said.

The firm has already hired two more lawyers to start this year, one who was already licensed in Arkansas and is finishing up graduate work at New York University, and another who is at the top of the upcoming graduating class at the University of Arkansas.
