AMP to Pursue Classic Acts for 2006 Season

The Arkansas Music Pavilion held a small season kickoff party Nov. 30. We happened to get a hold of a list of some of the talent being pursued. The act possibilities include Pat Benatar, Billy Idol, Lyle Lovett, Gipsy Kings, Hall & Oates, The Charlie Daniels Band, Journey, Van Halen, Supertramp and Ben Folds.
Kelly Rourke, vice president of marketing and sales for AMP, said the 2006 season lineup should be finalized by the end of February.
Rourke said the AMP has also doubled its VIP seating capacity for the upcoming season and will allow people to bring in lawn chairs and blankets this year.
