Clampit Releases Christmas CD

Former Fayetteville resident Jed Clampit released a Christmas CD in late November.

The CD, titled “Jed Clampit: Christmas Favorites,” contains 12 holiday standards, including “Silent Night,” “Winter Wonderland” and “White Christmas.”

Clampit, who now lives in Monticello, said he spent about $20,000 to record the music and produce 2,000 CDs on his label, My Own Records. Clampit has recorded six other CDs.

The Christmas CDs sell for $15 at Sound Warehouse, Collier Drug Store and Flying Possum Leather, all in Fayetteville, and two locations in Springdale.

Clampit is scheduled to perform and sign copies of the CD at Sigler Music Center in Springdale on Dec. 5 and Flying Possum on Dec. 18.
