Coleman Peterson, the former head of HR for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., was named in November to the eight-member board of Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. in St. Louis.

Build-A-Bear is an interactive, entertainment retailer that allows customers to build their own stuffed animals. Build-A-Bear has more than 200 toy stores in the U.S. and Canada. Annual revenue was $302 million in 2004.
