KNWA Opens Rogers Office

KNWA, the NBC affiliate in Northwest Arkansas, has opened a 1,000-SF office in the J.B. Hunt Tower building in Rogers.

The office will be staffed by seven employees — four in the newsroom and three in sales, said Blake Russell, general manager of the television station, which is based in Fayetteville.

Russell said Alan Little has been hired as news director at KNWA. Previously, he was general manager at News 9, a cable news channel in San Antonio, Texas. Little replaced Rob Heverling, who has moved to Little Rock to be news director for KARK-TV, Channel 4. Both Arkansas stations are owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Inc. of Irving, Texas.
