Conference To Teach Techies Business Sense
The 4th annual Technology Conference, which focuses on the movement of technology from concepts to commercialization, will be held Oct. 6 in Fayetteville.
Officials said the conference will emphasize practical methods for start-up and small technology companies to become market-driven, and how to attract business professionals as potential investors.
The University of Arkansas’ Innovation to Commercialization Incubator and the Arkansas Small Business Development Center sponsor the conference.
The keynote speaker will be Thomas Cellucci, president of Zyvex Corp. of Richardson, Texas. Zyvex makes nano-scaled tools and products that help facilitate clean manufacturing in a variety of applications.
The company had second quarter revenue of $3.1 million, a 70 percent increase over the same period a year prior.
The conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel at 70 N. East Ave. in Fayetteville. Anyone interested may attend.
